Fringe wines are the fun wines we just feel like making, not the wines we’re supposed to make. They can be unusual, maybe blends of varietals not typically seen together, or winemaking techniques you don’t see in “mainstream” wines.
We believe experimentation in the winery and vineyards leads to innovation, plus it’s more fun. Fringe is all about letting our creativity run wild and loving what we do. Instead of making the same wines the same way each year we like to ask “What if we . . .?”
Fringe wines are on the forefront of the new wine culture, which is seriously good but not serious. They are sometimes collaborations between our winemaking team and sometimes the brainchild of one lone genius winemaker testing the boundaries. Come join us on the Fringe!
